My three-year search for a Cougar station wagon was finally over when I found her in June, 2006. Purchased from the original owner, she still has the original paint, interior, and engine...a true survivor, in very good condition! The factory-detuned, emissions-compliant engine leaves a lot to be desired in the performance and fuel economy areas, averaging about 10 MPG around town, and 14.5 on the highway, although it does perform acceptably using 87 octane.
