I bought the car when my son needed to borrow my Ranger for about a year. I found it locally for $750. It came with $3,800 in receipts for parts and repairs. My original thought was to junk it after I was done with it. But, it was an average car with zero rust so I ended up keeping it.
After 18 months of daily use the transmission would only work in reverse. I had it rebuilt and I still have it. Soon it will need valve guides and a lot of cosmetic interior work for which there are NO off the shelf parts. It will be a challenge.
